RANZCP training requirements don't have to be arduous and unfulfilling.
We've been taught to fear assessment hurdles as potential roadblocks to where we want to be, with little control over the outcome. Yes, training requirements can be arduous, but they can also prepare us for the skills we need to become the consultants of the future.
With the pressures on speciality trainees being higher than ever before, a winning strategy that minimimises time and maximises results is needed more than ever.
But where to?
Exam preparation courses that deliver theoretical content or a generic template for essay structure seem to be attractive, and can allow us to feel like we are preparing if we spend hours studying rather than practicing. But this can often be an avoidance strategy, and unhelpful if there is no individual feedback.
There is no one right answer in the essay exams - there is correct information that is showcased by your natural communication style, developed in accordance with your time and study commitments.

Work with you to develop your own natural communication style, with particular attention to essay structure and vocabulary, so you show the examiner what you know about the quote, and not what a generic answer would say.

One on One Coaching

1. You’ll work with me over FIVE 90 minute sessions, that can occur over Zoom or in person in our beautiful training space in Collins St, Melbourne CBD.
2. You will be given essay quotes from our sample bank, all original and no past papers.
3. You'll get access to individual tailored feedback that will improve your structure and approach, rather than generic answers from a marking grid.
Coaching can occur face to face in Melbourne CBD or online.

The community is moderated by Dr Helen Schultz, consultant psychiatrist, exam coach and RANZCP accredited examiner and supervisor.

We have run six very successful full day workshops in Sydney and Melbourne in 2023, preparing trainees for the MEQ and CEQ exams.
These small group workshops take you from where you are to where you need to be over the course of the day with plenty of individual feedback and exam practice.
They are as equally valuable whether this attempt is your first time or a multiple time.

We know it's hard to receive the support you need for the scholarly project, and as much as supervisors want to help, they are often time poor. That's where we come in! Over three sessions we go from start to completion, and offer a structurale dit of your project before submission. If your project requires a revision, we'll take care of that for you as well.
